- Sites across the UK
We have sites all over the UK, from Portsmouth to Glasgow, Glascoed to Brough, and many more in between. The work carried out at these sites is incredibly varied and offer employment opportunities in almost any role you can imagine.
- Nurturing the engineers of tomorrow
As the largest employer of engineers in the UK it’s no surprise that we’re committed to supporting and developing the skills of young people. We aim to inspire and motivate them to continue their studying of STEM subjects, in the hope that they may choose a rewarding and fulfilling career in engineering.
To achieve this we’ve developed a national education programme. In addition to this we offer an extensive work experience scheme, excellent graduate and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as supporting the 14-19 Diploma in Engineering.
- Creating a working and learning environment
We recruit around 300 apprentices yearly (largely engineers) and over 200 graduates each year to take up positions such as Engineering, IT, Finance and Commercial. Regardless of their role each BAE Systems employee is encouraged to continue learning throughout their career with us.
