Ambassadors
The BAE Systems Education Programme exists to promote engineering as an exciting career for young people, and our Ambassadors play a key role in the success of this.
Ambassadors are BAE Systems employees who give up their time to visit schools local to their site up to three times a year to support the in-school Roadshow events
Become an Ambassador
If you'd like to become an Ambassador the first stage is to register your interest.
All Ambassadors must be screened by the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) or Disclosure Scotland, and clearance (which can take 8-12 weeks to complete) is required before you’re eligible to begin work as an Ambassador.
Resources for Ambassadors
As an Ambassador you’ll have access to a wide range of resource material, including information about your role, lesson plans and other useful guidance documents. The latest addition to this section is a series of downloadable worksheets on STEM topics from The Royal Academy of Engineering.
Ambassador Handbook
If you’re thinking about becoming an Education Ambassador, you'll find everything you need to know in our Ambassador Handbook.
