Ambassadors
The BAE Systems Education Programme exists to promote engineering as an exciting career for young people, and our Ambassadors play a key role in the success of this.
Ambassadors are BAE Systems employees who give up their time to visit schools local to their site up to three times a year, where they:
- Support the in-school Roadshow events
- Deliver one of three different presentations
Become an Ambassador
If you'd like to become an Ambassador the first stage is to register your interest.
All Ambassadors must be screened by the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) or Disclosure Scotland, and clearance (which can take 8-12 weeks to complete) is required before you’re eligible to begin work as an Ambassador.
Resources for Ambassadors
As an Ambassador you’ll have access to a wide range of resource material, including information about your role, lesson plans and other useful guidance documents, such as the BAE Systems Education Programme Ambassador Support pack.
