Enlightening, inspiring and fun
As part of the Education Programme there is a unique opportunity to experience a Roadshow and have an Ambassador visit your school.
The Roadshow is a live, interactive theatre show with a supporting workshop. It is a fun, inspiring programme that is curriculum aligned. It is designed to motivate and inspire young people and meet STEM curriculum objectives.
The objective is to challenge young people’s perceptions of engineering and raise awareness of engineering as a career choice. The programme includes a theatre performance and a series of workshop activities that can be tailored according to the length of time and available space. It is designed for young people primarily between the ages of 9-13.
You can also arrange for a BAE Systems’ Ambassador to visit your school to support your engineering activity. This can be done in conjunction with a Roadshow or as a standalone activity. Places are limited, with schools close to BAE Systems sites gaining preference.
