Managing work experience

Work experience at BAE Systems offers young people a fantastic opportunity to see for themselves what it's like to work in an exciting engineering environment. The information in our work experience section explains everything you and your pupils need to know about placements.

Interested pupils must first complete the ‘Work experience request form’ which registered teachers can find in the teachers’ secure area. Use the panel on the right hand side of this page to sign up, or log in if you're already registered.

To be eligible for consideration, your school must be within the catchment area of a BAE Systems site.

If accepted onto a placement you’ll need to brief your students prior to beginning their work experience placement. This will include talking them through the Key Skills pack (which you’ll find below).
