The BAE Systems Education Programme exists to promote engineering as an exciting career for young people, and our Ambassadors play a key role in the success of this.
Ambassadors are BAE Systems employees who give up their time to visit schools local to their site up to three times a year to act as inspiring role models to young people.
If you'd like to become an Ambassador the first stage is to register your interest.
All Ambassadors must be screened by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or Disclosure Scotland, and clearance (which can take 8-12 weeks to complete) is required before you’re eligible to begin work as an Ambassador.
To access our library of teaching materials, including a series of worksheets on STEM topics from BAE Systems and the RAEng, visit the resources area of our website.
If you’re thinking about becoming an Education Ambassador, you'll find everything you need to know in our Ambassador Handbook.
